AMP (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Artist Music Projector service.
Information We Collect
- Artist Profile Data: Name, biography, genre, social media handles, and streaming platform identifiers you provide.
- Track Information: Song titles, release dates, genre, and related metadata.
- Contact Information: Industry contacts (blogs, curators, radio) you add to the platform.
- Email Logs: Drafts and sent emails generated through the Service, stored to maintain your activity history.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps, and IP address for analytics and security.
- Account Data: Email address if you create an account.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To generate AI-powered promotional content, emails, and pitches on your behalf
- To store your email drafts and activity history
- To display your artist information within the platform
- To use your artist name and publicly available music information in AMP’s own promotional materials (per the license in our Terms of Service)
- To communicate with you about the Service
- To comply with applicable laws
AI Processing
Your artist profile, track details, and contact information are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate email drafts and promotional content. Anthropic’s data handling is governed by their own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to Anthropic or any third party for training purposes.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers (Vercel for hosting, Turso for database, Resend for email, Anthropic for AI) under confidentiality agreements
- As required by law, subpoena, or court order
- To protect the rights and safety of AMP and its users
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Email logs and contact data are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Security
We implement commercially reasonable security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure database storage. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; withdraw consent; object to processing; and data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR. California residents have rights under CCPA.
Children
AMP is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us immediately.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
